Here is how you collect raw call records from an Asterisk Telephone System for use in Comm One Call Accounting Software.
HOW TO SET UP ASTERISK CALL CAPTURE FOR COMMONE
Create the directory named \log_asterisk under your Comm One Folder if it doesn’t already exist.
Download the program PSCP.EXE and load it into the \\log_asterisk directory.
Create a batch file in the \log_asterisk directory named get_calls.bat
You will need the IP Address for your Asterisk System, and the password for ROOT in order to configure the download script.
Edit the get_calls.bat file to include the following commands.
COMMANDS FOR GET_CALLS.BAT FILE TO DOWNLOAD ASTERISK RAW CALL RECORDS
pscp –r –pw [password] root@[ip address]:/var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv c:\ca2018\asterisk
If my password was swordfish and my Asterisk Phone System IP was 192.168.1.1, then my get_calls.bat file would look like this:
pscp –r –pw swordfish email@example.com:/var/log/asterisk/cdr-csv c:\ca2018\asterisk
Last, you would create a windows scheduled event to run at 11pm each day and it would run the batch file created in the steps above (c:\ca2018\log_asterisk\get_calls.bat)
