Yes our software will work on a virtual server.
PHONE SYSTEM AND PC ON SAME SUBNET - IP CAPTURE
If the phone system and the virtual server are on the same network subnet then it’s just the same as a regular installation.
PHONE SYSTEM AND PC ON A DIFFERENT SUBNET - IP CAPTURE
If they are on different subnets, then you will need to have your IT Support Team configure port forwarding so that the phone system can see the PC to send or capture call records.
IF YOU ARE CAPTURING SERIAL CALL RECORDS ON A VIRTUAL SERVER
If you are capturing serial call records on a virtual server, you need to make sure that your virtual server has complete access to the com ports on the server that is hosting the virtual session. We have had some customers experience difficulties getting virtual machines to recognize com ports.
